Leading Balint Groups
Medical Continuing Education, Balint Groups & Supervision
In addition to my commitment to patients, I have been active in medical continuing education for decades – as a Psychotherapist (Individual and Group Therapy) and as a Balint Group Leader.
The groups named after Michael Balint (1896-1970) support physicians in better managing therapeutically challenging situations. The goal is a strengthened doctor-patient relationship, which leads to a deeper understanding of the individual situation and improved treatment.
My Balint groups are recognized by the Bavarian State Medical Association – both for Psychosomatic Basic Care as well as for Specialist Medical Training.
In addition, I offer collegial supervision, especially for particular professional or academic challenges. Colleagues can contact me directly at any time.
